Syncopation tracks the changes made to your iTunes music library over time. When it detects that a new track has been added to your iTunes library, it will report this as a track addition on other computers. When a track is removed from the iTunes library, the track is reported as a deletion on other computers. The history of additions and deletions that have been observed by Syncopation is used as the basis for deciding which tracks need to be added or deleted.
There may be times when you want to reset the history back to a blank slate. Once the history has been reset, all differences between two iTunes music libraries are seen as potential additions.
- Choose Library > Reset History from the main menu.
- Syncopation will refresh the track list from all subscribed libraries.
