Syncopation support for iTunes 10
I've been testing out Syncopation using the new iTunes release from Apple and have found Syncopation 2.2 to be fully compatible with iTunes 10.
Automatically Synchronize your music
Syncopation from Sonzea provides a hands-free solution to keep your iTunes® music collection synchronized across multiple computers running Mac OS X. Once installed on two or more Macs, Syncopation goes to work, finding music that is on one computer but not the others, and automatically transfers the songs between them so that they both contain your complete music collection. Leave it running in the background and it will keep your iTunes libraries up-to-date. When you make changes to your song files on one computer, Syncopation updates your other computers with those changes. If you add files to one of your computers, Syncopation replicates the new songs to your other computers, whether they are iTunes Music Store purchases or tracks ripped from your own CD’s. Syncopation works over your Ethernet or wireless network.
Works with movies too
Not only can Syncopation handle your iTunes music files, it also will synchronize your iTunes video files including full-length movie files, podcasts and TV shows.
You can take it with you
Syncopation lets you play your music files when and where you want. You can keep your iBook in sync with your iMac, and ensure that no matter where you happen to find yourself, you will have your whole music collection with you.
Protect your investment in your music
By synchronizing your music files across multiple computers, you protect yourself against losing the music collection you’ve spent so much time and money creating. Then if you ever lose a single file or the whole computer, you can be sure you have backup copies of your music.
Take control of your music
Syncopation also allows you to control which files are replicated. Suppose your husband loves Jazz, but you’re not a fan. You can set up a Block List that will keep his Thelonious Monk off your PowerBook. Syncopation 2.2 gives you even more ways to control where your music goes. Use iTunes playlists to designate which tracks are synchronized or use Syncopation's preview screen for track-by-track control of the process.
